This new album sounds deeply influenced by Native American rhythms and melodies, which are then stripped down and washed with Hoop's delicate vocals as she dances around the scales.

He creates soulful blues songs that contain a dynamic range of heavy to minimal instrumentation along with his raw vocals. Even just the tone of his voice tells a story - one that is deeply complex and full of emotion. It's true, Son Little has a way of making us feel pain, yearning, and hope all in the time is takes to listen through the album.
