Hoop's new album implements the use of brass, along with her beautifully unique melodies and harmonies, intricate instrumentation, and uncommon time signatures. Her music is far from the factory-style compositions that fill our TikTok feeds. Instead, the experience of listening to her music is akin to that of sitting at a fine art gallery, observing every nuance of the piece before you . She is truly a master at her craft, painting the auditory canvas with every color at her fingertips. This new album sounds deeply influenced by Native American rhythms and melodies, which are then stripped down and washed with Hoop's delicate vocals as she dances around the scales.
